What is Child Find?
From age birth to 5 are the most important years for brain development. At Child Find, we help families make sure children are on track to meet their developmental milestones. Child Find offers free developmental screenings to children ages birth to 5 years living within the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. Our team of parent educators provide the following services:
- Developmental Screenings that include hearing and vision checks
- Home activities to support learning and social emotional development
- Referrals for speech, physical, occupational therapy if needed
- Coordination with agencies that provide early intervention and developmental preschool services
- Ongoing support and home visits for eligible children
- Additional services and referrals tailored to meet the needs and concerns of families
