Salt River Schools Food Services is excited to continue our partnership with Stern Produce to bring families fresh fruits, vegetables, and milk through the USDA’s Farmers to Families Food Box Program.
The food will be pre-boxed and available to anyone, any age, from any community (yes - that means you!); gallons of milk will also be available! The food boxes will be distributed every Wednesday and Friday from now through June 26 at the Early Childhood Education Center from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Please note that the free breakfast and lunch meals for youth ages 18 and younger will still be distributed at the SRHS site Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Other important information to know:
-
No identification is required to receive a food box.
-
There is no limit to the number of food boxes a family or individual can receive.
-
Can’t make it to the Food Distribution site? Someone else can pick it up for you.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to provide food and nourishment to the Community,” said Shannon Reina, Food Services Manager. “I hope many families will come and partake of this wonderful blessing.”
More dates may be scheduled – stay tuned!
