Exciting news: Salt River Schools has embarked on an accreditation and improvement process with Cognia, a nonprofit organization that provides quality assurance for schools, districts, and education service providers. Click the links to learn more about Cognia and the accreditation process. More information will be shared as we move through the process.

Cognia, formerly AdvancED, recognizes districts and schools, nationally and internationally, that meet rigorous standards focused on productive learning environments, equitable resource allocation that meets the needs of learners, and effective leadership. Earning accreditation from the Cognia Global Accreditation Commission would mean that Salt River Schools are accredited and recognized across the globe as meeting the Cognia Standards of Quality with a commitment to continuous improvement.

To begin the process, Salt River Schools teachers, staff, students, and families will complete surveys to help us understand the quality of services we provide to learners and their families. The survey results can be used to support the continuous improvement process. Survey responses are anonymous, and no individual results are reported.

FAMILY SURVEY
We will send families the surveys via broadcast message. The last day for families to take the survey is June 30. Please encourage the families you work with to complete the survey.

STUDENT SURVEY
SRES and ALA distributed surveys to their students before school let out for the summer (3rd grade and above).

STAFF SURVEY
We appreciate your support in filling out the staff survey below.

If you have any questions about Cognia, the surveys, or the accreditation process, please reach out to Robert Gray. Thank you!
