Salt River Rising is the theme of this year's Education Fair, an annual event hosted by Salt River Schools that highlights all things education. The theme is meant to encourage attendees to "rise" to the occasion and pursue their education goals as far and as high as they can!

The Education Fair highlights Salt River Schools sites, departments, and programs, as well as our Community and business partners - this year's event boasts more than 60 resource tables, each with activities and giveaways inside the ALA gymnasium! Check out a list of our confirmed partners below!

WHAT: Salt River Schools Education Fair
WHEN: Thursday, April 4, 2024
TIME: 4-7 p.m.
WHERE: Accelerated Learning Academy gymnasium. Park in the lot along Highland Avenue south of the football field. Click here to view the map.

This year, we'll shine a special light on our  in nearby school districts, such as Mesa and Scottsdale, so that our students rising to 7th grade next year can make important connections with their new schools.

In addition, students from Salt River Elementary School will deliver a special performance around 4:45 p.m., so make sure you come for that!

The live art activity will take place in the ALA's outdoor courtyard between the gym and the cafeteria.
Special guests, including Wiley the Wolf from Great Wolf Lodge and Artie the Artichoke from Scottsdale Community College, will be roaming around the event, so make sure to say hi and take a selfie!

And OF COURSE there will be food - a yummy, delicious, tradish-ish meal cooked and served by our very own Food Services team led by Shannon Reina! The first 300 people will be served fan-favorites: Frybread, beans, squash, and fruit-topped blue corn mush! Dessert will be sponsored by our partners at Cold Stone Creamery! The meal will be served and enjoyed in the ALA cafeteria.
