Due to the current situation with COVID-19, Salt River Schools will begin the school year remotely on Monday, August 3. We are basing our decision on guidance received from federal, state, and Community officials. We will continue with remote learning until it is deemed safe for in-person learning.
We recognize that this may present a challenge for some families. As we move through the school year and beyond, decisions regarding distance learning, on-campus learning, or a combination (hybrid) plan will be made using federal, state, and Community safety recommendations, as well as the input we collect using surveys like this and the feedback our staff receives from stakeholders.
This short survey* will help us collect critical information. Any member of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community with children heading to
any school this fall (Early Head Start through 12th grade) may take the survey.
Please only complete ONE SURVEY, even if you have multiple children and/or they attend different schools. Your answers are anonymous; however, we will do a drawing for prizes, such as an iPad, water bottles, gift certificates, and other cool gear for those who volunteer their names and contact information.
