Our Mission: To promote understanding and encourage effective communication between schools, SRPMIC Education, Community parents and students for the purpose of improving school attendance, supporting academic excellence and removing any barriers to learning.
School & Community Relations (SCR) provides academic, emotional and transitional support to Community enrolled students. SCR works collaboratively with families, school officials, departments and programs within the Education Division, Community agencies and local agencies. Attendance Officers monitor school attendance and implement interventions in order to deter truancy. SCR specifically addresses underlying issues related to inconsistent school attendance, behavioral concerns and provides educational financial assistance.
