The final week of school, May 18-21, begins our celebrations of transitioning students in Head Start, Kindergarten, and Sixth Grade. At the end of June, we celebrate the Accelerated Learning Academy's Class of 2026, as well as all SRPMIC graduates who earned certificates/diplomas in high school/higher education from July 2025-June 2026.

Kindergarten students have learned so much this school year about reading, writing, and math. They have also learned about themselves, their friends, and kindness. Let’s celebrate their achievements!

Help us celebrate our Head Start preschoolers’ rise to Kindergarten!
The celebration will take place in the Accelerated Learning Academy Gymnasium on Tuesday, May 19, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Classrooms will have specific stage times.

The Accelerated Learning Academy will honor the graduating Class of 2026 at the commencement ceremony on Thursday, June 25 from noon to 2 p.m.
The event will be held in the luxurious Grand Ballroom of Talking Stick Resort. Due to space limitations, the event is open to ALA staff, graduates, their families, and invited guests only.

2026 SRPMIC GRADUATION RECOGNITION

The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and Salt River Schools offices of School and Community Relations and Higher Education would like to recognize all SRPMIC high school and postsecondary graduates from the Class of 2026.
This includes any graduation from high school, GED, trade school, or college/university occurring from July 2025 through June 2026.
The graduation recognition event will be held at Talking Stick Resort on Thursday, June 25, from 6-8 p.m. This is a free event for SRPMIC students and two guests - but you MUST register and fill out our application to be recognized by Thursday, June 11. The event is for adults only (18+).
